Chalo lets start --
My profile :
percentile : 99.06
Calls: IIM B, K
CGPA -7.84 from IIT Kharagpur 2004
Work Ex. - 20 months ... in IT presently working with a Software Startup
Class XII- 89.8%
Class X - 83.8%
Extracurriculars - very good (probably the reason why they did not ask me anything on that .. or maybe i was unable to direct them there)
GD/PI
GD first ....
The Mongolian town case facing a traffic congestion problem on its bridge .. mentioned earlier in the thread....
My opinion about it : We did well as a group discussing various solutions, with decent contributions from me. I entered 4-5 times and my points were taken by the group and carried forward. Would rate my performance as above 'good' here.
PI next ...
Dr.Raghavan Srinivasan -- Finance & Control (RS)
Dr.Rishikesha T Krishnan -- Corporate Strategy & Policy (RTK)-- he has worked on Engineering services sector ... so must be knowing a lot abt PLM--my core domain
(Found out their names from the IIMB site.... to say the least these are quite high profile profs...... lets see how they judged an so-so academic like me )
and me ...(M)
RS - Sow what do you enjoy about your job ?
M - Startup, more challenges, responsibilities, which I like

M-tell
RS - how often are you people monitored?
M-tell
RS- is it good . this close monitoring of people??

M- tell abt industires already in place .. need to improve efficiency .. so bring in more private players.. talk abt L.N. Mittals plans to invest in steel there ... talk abt the divide between teh affluent (non-tribals) and the poor(tribals).. talk of education and mahufacturing industry being able to employ unskilled laboure also .
RS - so manufacturing employs unskilled labour ?
M- talk abt assembly line employess, SME etc .. does not require large skills set. Talked about software but was cut short.
RTK - tell me do you think sourav ganguly should be there in teh team ?

RTK - first tell me ur opinion

RTK - now tell me why
M- talk abt his form and captaincy suffering, then talk about players for the future ..Munaf Patel ... coming from a backward region
RS- so u think there should be regional quota or not

Me came out , door opened too fast for me ... and it made a loud bang ... i said sorries and got out .
Overall, was satisfied with my job and acads answers (surprisingly).. but was not asked much on GK and extra-currics .. so was a little disappointed in the end ... Keeping my fingers crossed ..
